This is how bad it’s getting: my wife and I bought a small 6-slice meatball&cheese pizza from our favorite place after a medical appt. $20. Rather than dine in, we got it to go, brought two water bottles from home, and ate it in a parking lot. It saved us having to tip. We’re pitiful.

Well, Juan Soto is now a NY Met, and has received the highest contract in sports history. If every option is triggered over the life of the 15-year contract, the total value is $805MM. So here are my thoughts, in no particular order.
